Who is onchan
Born in 1997 as the mascot character of HTB, Hokkaido Television Broadcasting.
After the appearance in HTB’s variety shows, "How do you like wednesday?," onchan has gained nationwide popularity and since then has been in our highly watched morning show, Monday through Friday. The recognition status of onchan in Hokkaido reached to 97% * and its popularity among small children is especially remarkable. onchan has been made into animations and various products and also in numerous events.
