Find Natural healing in the "Town of Wind, Erimo", the central southernmost tip of Hokkaido!


Erimo is famous for being a rich breeding area to adorable harbor seals. If you visit in the right season, large seal families with tiny babies are even there to welcome you at the cape. The MCs also try the wind tunnel exhibit at the “House of Wind”, a facility dedicated to the strong winds you can only experience in this region. MCs Li Qiang and Isis take a stroll into the forest to find new relaxation at Lake Toyoni. They discover and delightfully feast on the rare Japanese Beef called "Erimo Tankakugyu" or "Erimo Shorthorn Cattle", and are thrilled to eat hamburg made with famous seaweed in the Hidaka region.

A Journey with Horses from the Famous Horse Breeding region “Monbetsu District of Hidaka Town”


Monbetsu District is located in the southwest area of the Hidaka region in Hokkaido. There the MCs ride gentle-hearted horses at O-K Ranch. They even get the chance to trek along the ocean beach, what freedom! A lot of new experiences at the Monbetsu Racecourse track: buying a horse betting ticket for the first time, trying “Bucket Genghis Khan” for the first time, both very entertaining! Then the MCs jump at the chance to try and make sweets at a local confectionary shop, but they are puzzled to create this unique treat called “Ramen Pudding”… is it Ramen, or is it pudding??

In the Kiyoshi district of Sapporo City, a park flourishing with about 1200 plum trees attract thousands to "Hiraoka Park". Everyone enjoys flower-viewing under these plum trees thanks to their inviting sweet fragrance. We introduce plum foods such as "Plum Soba" and "Plum Soft Cream", and even "Ume Monaka", which is plum wafer cake filled with bean jam, at a traditional well-established Japanese sweets shop. Another relaxation spot full of beautiful sights for Sapporo locals and visitors alike is the "Hokkaido University Botanical Garden". What’s more, we have a great laugh reminiscing our university days with lunch at the Hokkaido University open cafeteria. Just north of Sapporo in Ishikari City, Toda Momorial Park Cemetery is famous for cherry blossoms. An overwhelming sight of 8000 Yoshino cherry trees are there. Nearby on the coastline of Ishikari, you can find 3 fresh morning markets, one being the popular Atsuta Port Morning Market. Fishermen proudly present their fresh catch of the season from that very morning. Next, the MCs find ultimate eggs produced by "No-zan No-san" farm. There, Isis takes up the TKG challenge!
