In the town of Okhotsk, where they set out on their quest to find lesser-known soul food, Yurie is mysteriously brought to a sumo wrestling arena called "Daibou Dojo," leaving her utterly perplexed. As it turns out, Okhotsk Town has a deep connection with the legendary sumo champion from the Showa era, “Daibou," so the town is very passionate about sumo. Our two hosts face off against eager young sumo wrestlers but are both swiftly defeated.
Following this defeat, they gather information from the spirited local children and embark on their soul food quest. First stop, "Sugano Shoten," for their freshly baked dorayaki, a special treat cherished by the children. Made with locally sourced red beans from Okhotsk, it boasts a delicately sweet flavor. They are even treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the factory and enjoy a piping-hot sample right out of the oven.
Next, they visit "Nagashima-ke" for their Ebi Tempura Curry with green soba, a unique combination of flavors that showcases the authentic taste of Okhotsk Town; they’re proudly known as the local cafeteria.
